Licensing of Rev Tom Cameron as Assistant Priest of the Parish of Clayton with Keymer

Rev Tom Cameron, who has been a very big part of the parish community until very recently, will be licensed as house for duty, Assistant Priest, of the Parish of Clayton with Keymer, in the Diocese of Chichester, 6 miles north of Brighton, on Wednesday the 27th July at 7.30pm. Our best wishes are with him. Love to see some photos if you are planning to attend the licensing.

The 2011 Golden Lecture - By What Authority

The Revd. Canon Roger Royle - former presenter of BBC Radio 2's Sunday Half Hour will lecture on - By What Authority at St Bartholomew the Less.

The lecture is organised by The Haberdashers' Company as a Trustee of the Haberdashers' Christian Foundation.  The Golden Lecture owes its origins to William Jones, one of the Company’s earliest benefactors. Transcripts of past lectures are available from their website.

Fairtrade Fortnight

St Bartholomew the Less has been a Fair Trade parish for several years and this year we are supporting Fair Trade Fortnight in an effort to  support fair trade practices across the world.

After our regular Sunday Service we had a special tread of Fair Trade Chocolate, Shortbread and Geo bars with our regular coffee as a small way to recognise Fair Trade Fortnight.
