The Parish
The parish of St Bartholomew the Less Smithfield Gate is a Church of England parish located in the City of London.
As the extent of the Parish is the grounds of St Batholomew's Hospital, the hospital is unique among English hospitals as being a parish in its own right .

The Anglican Clergy serving the Parish are members of the Society of Catholic Priests. The Society is open to mail and female Priests and seeks to promote priestly spirituality and Catholic evangelism.
As a small and friendly parish we aim to be an inclusive, affirming and welcoming Church.
In accordance with Anglican tradition we extend Eucharistic hospitality to all our Christian Brothers and Sisters in good standing in their own churches.
It is our custom for tea and coffee to be served after the 11.am Eucharist, we extend a warm welcome to all whether you live or stay in the area, are visiting, or have a current or past connection with the hospital.
