The Church

The church of St Bartholowmew-the-Less is located just inside the Henry VIII Gate entrance to St Bartholowmew's Hospital and is open for patients and visitors who wish to pray or seek a quiet place. To find the church simply walk into the hospital through the Henry VIII Gate and church is on your left. From the main square walk north-west under the Great Hall and the church is on your right.

Church of England and Roman Catholic services are held in the church regularly

The church is used by a range of community groups associated with the Hospital or based around The City including several choirs. The building has inductive loop technology for use by those with a hearing impairment.

A range of archival materials and records are maintained by the church.  The parish records, church plate and historical artifacts of the Church of St Bartholomew the Less are held on deposit from the church and parish by the St Bartholowmew's Hospital Archive.
